The Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA) are looking to assist service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and women-owned small businesses with this exclusive expo.The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) serves as the VA advocate, to assist and support the interests of small businesses. A related mission of this office is to provide outreach and liaison support to businesses (large and small) and other members of the private sector concerning acquisition related issues.

Consistent with the mandate and the mission of VA, OSDBU strongly encourages the participation of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs) in VA's Acquisition program. SDVOSB and VOSB are first and second, respectively, in VA's hierarchy of Small Business Programs.
