Critical national infrastructure, economic vitality, and safety and security rely on position, navigation, and timing information (PNT). Low Frequency (LF) PNT systems provide a robust alternative to satellite based systems. The combination of the two in user equipment results in 99.9999% up-time for the user.

Site Survey and Design

UrsaNav provides comprehensive, cost-effective, and efficient solutions for an extensive array of LF solutions requirements. Our experienced engineers will perform site surveys to identify appropriate station geometry to maximize coverage areas and system performance. We work with clients to develop a system that meets all expected requirements and remains within budget.

Equipment

UrsaNav provides the entire suite of equipment required to implement an LF PNT system. We have worked with select partners to develop state-of-the-art equipment that enables clients’ systems to have the flexibility to evolve over time while meeting the highest possible availability. In addition to developing an entire system, the UrsaNav team will work with a customer’s existing equipment to contain costs and meet requirements.

Installation, Maintenance, and Support

UrsaNav personnel have, combined, decades of experience maintaining and supporting LF systems. Many of these subject matter experts were integral in installing and maintaining the U.S. Loran system. We can provide the training and fly-away support to assist clients in the operation and maintenance of their system or UrsaNav can be contracted to undertake the entire operation from start to finish with continual support.
